Postpartum belongs to both of you.
When people talk about “postpartum,” they usually mean what the birthing parent goes through after birth. Recovery, hormones, feeding, sleepless nights, depression–it’s a tidal wave.
But postpartum isn’t just something one partner experiences. It’s something you enter together. It’s the season where your relationship is tested, reshaped, and deeply transformed.
This is where your communication, teamwork, patience, and support matter more than ever - not just for healing and recovery, but for how your family starts together.
Both of you deserve preparation, support, and tools to navigate it well.
SUPPORT SEASON COVERS
PREPARE TO BE UNPREPARED
Postpartum Challenges
Preparing for your baby is about so much more than labor, delivery, and the nursery. It’s about anticipating needs on a new level.
This course is built to give you the tools you need to navigate the unknowns.
Helping isn’t always helping.
There’s a difference between “helping” and showing up. Partners will learn about taking ownership: anticipating needs and making sacrifices that lighten the load.
It might mean eating cold dinners, missing a workout, or waking up at 3 am. It’s not glamorous. But when partners consistently show up it changes the game for your growing family.
You’ve never been more vulnerable.
The first months after birth can be the toughest - and the most important. The birthing partner needs support physically and emotionally as they heal. You’re both learning, everything is new.
Support Season turns uncertainty into a playbook that provides you with the skills, tools, and confidence to show up and get much-needed support during recovery, while still acknowledging the real change for the non-birthing partner, too.
It’s uncharted territory.
Each baby and every partner is different. You’re not going to get everything right, and that’s okay.
What matters is how you two navigate the unknown together. Communicate like crazy. Ask for what you need. Share what you’re struggling with. Keep talking, even when you’re tired or frustrated. That’s how you figure out the map as you go.
Redefining intimacy.
This period can pull you apart. Sleep deprivation, mismatched needs, and constant demands leave little room for connection.
Closeness doesn’t have to mean grand gestures. It’s the small stuff: a back rub, sharing a coffee, holding hands, stealing a 10-minute stroller walk together. These moments remind you that you’re not just co-parents trying to survive, you’re partners building something together.
THE GAMEPLAN:
Over 3-hours of guidance from an expert couples therapist in:
STEP 1
Mindset Shift
STEP 2
Anticipate Needs
STEP 3
Connect & Adapt
Balance the sacrifices that come with pregnancy and parenthood without keeping score. Embrace your new role, break through assumptions and understand the difference between helping out and showing up.
See around corners and lower the temperature at home. Support feeding, run a reliable soothing sequence, and make house ops predictable with clear ownership. Know when and how to ask for help.
Turn closeness into a daily practice through check-ins and care. Build small rituals, align return-to-work rhythms, and learn the language of validation.
